Frost observed on Mount Jade North Peak in Nantou County’s Xinyi Township, with temperatures dropping to -4.2 degrees Celsius. The Central Weather Administration explains that the freezing temperatures caused moisture near the ground to freeze, resulting in the formation of frost. In other parts of Taiwan, temperatures hovered around 11.5 to 11.7 degrees Celsius in Sanwan Township, Miaoli County, and Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County, respectively.
